Summer Studies
Summertime spent down on the coast of North Carolina with my family makes for some of my favorite memories. A treasured past time of chasing sunset clouds and changing tides has inspired countless works with a collection of coral back lit clouds and salty water reflections stored away in my heart. This summer I decided to slow things down quite a bit and break out my oil paints for the first time in a long time, a needed reprieve. Like coffee with an old friend, we became reacquainted with each other again over the course of the weeks where small en plein air studies informed larger studio renditions. A true labor of love...
This small collection is done in oil paint on approx. 8.5” x 12” hand made, acid free, deckled edge paper.
