Low Country Landscapes
The sight of cordgrass rustling and smell of pluff mud caught in the salty breeze calls me home. Summers spent in the low country by the Carolina shores hold a cherished place in my heart and soul. Inspired by countless family vacations, weekend trips, and time spent living in Charleston, SC, this series attempts to capture a frozen moment in time of that coastal charm and southern marsh magic.
This collection is done in gouache and watercolor on unstretched 9”x 12” canvas.
